Gunfight rages out in Reban Sopore | KNO

Sopore, July 12 (KNO): Gunfight is rages out between militants and Government forces in Reban village of Sopore North Kashmir Baramulla district on wee hours. Official sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that contingents of Army 22 RR, SOG Sopore,and CRPF, 92 BTN, Baramulla QRT and Police cordon off the Reban village. As the forces intensified the searches, hiding militants in the area opened fire, leading to a gun fight which was going on when last reports came in. The army has already rushed more reinforcement in the area, they said. A police officer confirmed to KNO that the encounter starts in a area and cordon was launched following specific inputs in the village. Sources said two Lashkar-e-Toaiba militants believed to be trapped in the area—(KNO)
